Syncing SVG artwork with scripts

- [Instructor] There are two basic things you can do to send your SVG file to a designer, to a coder, to an animator, or just work with it yourself. And those are you can either save as, or you can export as SVG. In this video we'll go through when and why and how you save as an SVG file. If you save as an SVG file you can preserve Illustrator editability and that's valuable. You can keep everything in one package. You can embed the file in a webpage, and you can edit it Illustrator. And sometimes you want to do that. You also want to save as an SVG file when you need to micromanage how your artwork is saved. Finally, it's often easier to save as an SVG file when you are working with a coder, or when you yourself are a coder and want to grab a block of HTML-ready code and plop it into your code editor. So again, save as SVG when you're working with a coder, and you need a file that you can edit in Illustrator. Or when you need to take advantage of additional options that I'll show you…
