What you should know

- [Instructor] Let's take a quick look at what you need to follow this course. The first requirement is a copy of Adobe Dreamweaver CC. I recorded this course on Dreamweaver CC 2019, but if you're using an earlier version of Dreamweaver, it must be Dreamweaver CC 2018.1 or later. Older versions don't have support for Bootstrap 4. Familiarity with the Dreamweaver interface while not absolutely essential, will certainly make it easier to follow along. I do, however, assume you have a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Most of the time, we'll be building a webpage visually by working in Dreamweaver's live view, but I do dive into the underlying code from time to time. You'll also find it easier to work with a DOM panel and CSS Designer if you feel at home with HTML and CSS, but you don't need prior experience of working with Bootstrap 4. Of course, all the better if you're familiar with Bootstrap, but I cover all the essentials anyway. If you plan to use the exercise files provided for this course, there aren't any files for the first two videos in chapter one, but all the other chapters have a complete set of files in the state they should be at the beginning and at the end of each video. The course is being designed to be followed from beginning to end, to see how a complete web page is built, but if you're interested in a specific technique, most videos can be watched independently. So, without more ado, let's get down to responsive design with Bootstrap 4 in Dreamweaver CC.
