- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to show how to use Dynamo to concatenate several lists of information into a single list item that can inputted into a shelf's mark parameter value, creating a unique ID. Let's get started by opening Dynamo from the manage tab. In Dynamo, click Open, and browse to the 01_08_Begin_Concat.dyn. Make sure to open in manual execution mode and click Open. This workspace allows you to select a room inside of Revit, and find the boundary of the room, finding each of the line segments along that room. Then you can specify a distance that you want to divide each of those lines by, returning the number of divisions each line requires. Then, we use Dynamo to divide the line to create a list of points, and place a family on each of those points. For this case, we're using a shelf family to place shelves around the room. Then using clash detection, we can find out if those points intersect with the specific wall enclosing this room. Then we use Dynamo to…
