- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to show you how to use Dynamo to perform class detection to find floor finishes in rooms by selecting all the floors and rooms in a model, then finding their intersecting geometry. The list of floor finishes can be used to synchronize or fill out a room finish schedule based on what is actually modeled in Revit. In this Revit project, I've premodeled finishes throughout the model. Some of the rooms have multiple finishes, and some have no finishes at all. We're going to use Dynamo to read the finishes in the model and fill out the room schedule based on the rooms that those finishes reside in. For the managed tab, let's open Dynamo from the visual programming panel. Click new to start a new workspace. Change your workspace from automatic to manual mode.
