Finding points In Dynamo

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to discuss using Dynamo to find or create points from Revit geometry by using the GetLocation node, the Geometry.Intersect node, and then by dividing curves to make the points. Let's get started by opening Dynamo. Click New to start a new workspace. In this workspace, we're going to start by using Dynamo to select a door, to find its location, and create a point. In the Search bar in Dynamo, search for select model element, (keyboard keys clicking) click to add the node to the workspace. The Select Model Elements node allows me to click Select and select an item inside of Revit. This item's stored as an element, which is the door family you've seen, here. With Dynamo, I can use the GetLocation node to find the underlying location of this family. In the Search bar, if I search get location, (keyboard keys clicking) I can wire the element output from Select Model Elements to the element input of Element.GetLocation. If I look at the results…
