- [Narrator] In this video I'm going to show how to model a wall in Revit using Dynamo. When modeling a wall inside of Revit, I need to specify the level, the height of the wall, the type of wall I'm going to place, and the location of where I want that wall to be built. Placing the wall in Dynamo is not much different. I need to specify the same information. The only difference is I can use Dynamo to read the information in the Revit model to help make those selections. This video's an introduction to the rest of the chapter where I'll show how we can improve this process of placing walls in Revit, by using Dynamo to leverage information inside of our Revit models. Let's get started. I'm going to hit escape to exit the command. From the Manage tab, I can click on Dynamo from the Visual Programing panel. I'm going to click New to start a new work space. Dynamo can be a challenging program on one screen. I recommend using two screens when working with Dynamo and Revit. For this…
