- [Narrator] Let's look at how to measure and then display information about the panel's orientation. And for this, we'll use the sun vector in Revit as a means to measure how a particular panel is oriented and say on the summer solstice. I'm starting in an exercise file with a wavy surface that's panelized into triangles. Right now, these are just surfaces in Dynamo, so let's start by making them adaptive component instances in Revit; I'll use the node adaptive component.ByPoints and I'll place a family type that requires three points to place; now we see our wall in Revit. You can access the sun settings from the view control bar at the bottom of the screen and I'll change this to a still day, in fact, let's pick the summer solstice and apply and to see this, I'll go back to the sun settings and turn the path on; in Dynamo, whether you turn it on, or not, you can access information about the sun itself and for this, I'll use the node called SunSettings Current and with those current…
