- Let's look at several methods available for us to get panels that are created in Dynamo into Revit. Now, this isn't as straightforward as you might think, just because Revit doesn't have a category for dumb geometry. It has to be some category that you can specify or you can schedule or some type of thing that you could order and put on a truck. Basically, you have a few options, but there are a few things you should consider first before choosing one. First, do the panels need to be imported as individual instances? That is, would you like to be able to select them individually, and would you like to be able to schedule them and apply data individually or collectively? Next, do you need to be able to apply materials, and do the materials have to be different? Some methods of import, for example, require that all the panels have the same material, which may not be what you're after. And lastly, file size.
