- [Matthew] Welcome back to Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, I'm your instructor, Matthew Hunt. The next section we're going to talk about is Supplier Managed Inventory, and this is going to be a brief video because I don't have access on any of my clients to the Supplier Managed Inventory module, but I do know how the process works, so we'll quickly just kind of go over how the process does work in Ariba, so. From the buyer's ECC system, you would create an SMI schedule agreement, and so I believe this process currently is only working with schedule agreements, it doesn't work with purchase requisitions or purchase orders. But you would create an SMI schedule agreement, you would then send the supplier your inventory levels, your demand levels, and then your min/max thresholds. The supplier would then go into the SMI screens, which are in the planning menu, so the menu that I just showed you for forecast collaboration.…
