- [Instructor] Another important consideration and one that should not be taken lightly is accessibility. I mean this in two different ways. The first is how instructors and learners will be able to access the platform. Do you want them to be able to access it only while at your organization or school, or would you like them to be able to access it outside of here? I recommend the second option as allowing learners to access the learning content from anywhere at any time is one of the most powerful aspects of an LMS and a great way to encourage lifelong learning. If the learners will be able to access it on their own, will they be able to access it from different devices? Mobile learning and the utilization of smartphones continues to grow in popularity. Many learning management systems such as Moodle and Canvas have powerful mobile apps that allow users to access courses, training, assignments, resources, and content from their devices.
