- [Instructor] Choosing which LMS to adopt is a big decision and one that you should not take lightly. In a perfect situation, you'll choose one that's easy to manage and well-received by instructors and students. Also one that you can use for many years to come. After you've considered your specific needs and involved those who will be impacted by the learning management system, there are a couple other things I recommend doing. First, talk to others in your field to see what LMSs they are using and, after using it, how they feel about it. A certain LMS might work great in one setting, such as a college classroom, but would not work well in another situation, such as corporate training. Next, search online for some different options. A simple Google search can surface a lot of different lists and reviews on learning management systems. Take the time to do the research up front. It will save a ton of headaches later.
