- [Instructor] Obviously, the need for teaching and training has been around for a long time. But for most of that time, we didn't have the luxury of using a learning management system. Now, in the digital age, the internet has empowered us to utilize an LMS for instruction. Let's take a look at some of the benefits and advantages that an LMS can provide. The first is the online delivery of content and instruction. A learning management system provides learners with a centralized location where they can find any resources or content related to the course or training. Best of all, they can access the resources and content anytime or anywhere that they have an internet connection and usually across a wide variety of devices, including computers, tablets, or mobile devices.
