- In classrooms and on the web, we often learn alone together. What I mean is we sit next to each other and we have similar goals, but we mostly learn on our own. You can change that dynamic by creating personal learning networks with Twitter. By creating networks you can use the three Is of learning: inspiration, information and interaction. Let's build a personal learning network to help with science. Before you begin, you'll need to create a Twitter account if you don't have one. First, inspiration. On your Twitter app, search for inspirational people in your field. For example Neil deGrasse Tyson. He's an astrophysicist and a science communicator. He's also thoughtful and funny. Once you follow him, you'll start seeing Neil's tweets in your feed to inspire your science learning. Second, information. Take advantage of hashtags. Use them to help people find up-to-date information about relevant topics. Hashtag search results show the most recent tweets from around the world…
