- [Instructor] When we're asked to draw a conclusion in a GMAT critical reasoning question, it's kind of like looking for a choice that would be a good argument to make, given the evidence in the passage. So, let's take a closer look at one of these questions. So, here, we have a passage, we have some typical phrasing. If the statements above are all true, they most strongly support which of the following conclusions? Well, let's read it. Many people avoid genetically modified, or GMO, foods on the basis that these foods may be carcinogenic. However, no research on GMO foods has found that these foods cause any of the known cancer markers to rise in blood tests. Certain pesticides sprayed on both GMO and non-GMO foods have been found to be carcinogenic in high doses to both animals and humans. OK, so, notice the evidence that we do have. No evidence of carcinogenic properties, in terms of GMO foods, then we also have some evidence that the same pesticides are used on both GMO and…
