- Maybe you're watching this course and at the same time thinking about how much work you have to get done. And each time your boss pulls you away from your work, you cringe. Why do I bring these points up? It's to remind you what employees are thinking when you expect them to come to your training. Let's be clear. It's not that they don't want to come, but they are trying to balance their developmental needs with their workload.
