How to present your data in written form
- Reporting on the results of your study follows the same formula you used for describing your methodologies. This section's a straightforward description of research findings in the order of analysis that does not include interpretation. Let's say you've set up a research problem contextualized it in the scope of other literature and you're field and laid out a methodology for how your study will unfold. The results section is where your describe how it unfolded and what came out of the analysis. It might sound easy or simple that you only need to recite findings. But this is the part of your paper that will draw the most focus. You're results section needs to address all of the setup that came before, and do so in the matter of fact manner you wrote the rest of your paper. The problems of the field and the objectives of your research will need to be merged into the findings of your paper to present a compelling case for how to move further into the field.
