Learning how to learn
- Before we look at mobile learning we have to look at learning itself. After all most of us never learn how to learn. Most of us go through the learning process without thinking much about it. We just do whatever the teacher assigned us, right. However you can actually improve your learning through something called metacognition. Different definitions highlight three aspects of metacognition, awareness of, analysis of, and ability to regulate your learning or thinking processes. If you're asking yourself how do I do all of that then you're in luck. To regulate your learning there's an easy three step process, plan, do, reflect. Let's look at the plan, do, reflect process in action. Think about a learning task you have to complete for a class, such as solving some homework problems, participating in online discussions or writing a paper.
