Outline your research proposal

- An outline of your entire research paper is a helpful early tool to see the relationships between your efforts and the final result. It's also a way to keep your work focused and not drifting away from your research problem. Writing an outline can be daunting, but remember that you're mapping out the elements you'll need so your research can make it's greatest impact. This will help you identify what you need to focus on as you build out your study. In order to do this, it can be helpful to look at a sample research paper outline. First, you'll see a summary of the study, including the problem you're addressing, the objectives of the research, the significance of your work, and the methodologies you'll use. This is your elevator pitch. A strong one will make your writing process much easier. Work to keep this to half a written page, about 200 words.
