- [Instructor] Okay, lets talk about some geometry basics, the very most basic things. In this video, we're going to discuss concepts like points, lines, and planes. So in geometry, point is that. It's just a one point in terms of it doesn't continue as a line. Whereas, a line continues infinitely both directions. And a line segment would be something like this, like it might be labeled line segment AB denoted like that. And then a plane is just if you picture like a piece of paper, it's just two dimensional. It stretches infinitely in each direction but it's flat. So remember knowing the basics and learning the definitions can come in handy in case the GMAT uses those terms in a question.
