- [Instructor] When creating instruction or designing a curriculum, it's important to provide some predictability for the learners. It's important that learners understand things such as the learning objectives, or what it is that they're supposed to be learning. How the learners will be assessed. Most learners will rightfully be concerned about whether or not they're doing a good job, and whether they're satisfying the expectations of the instructor. So make this clear as to how they'll be assessed. With this in mind, how will they receive feedback from you in order to know when they're doing well? Inform the learners of any policies. Consider things such as whether they have to be present, what happens when they turn in assignments late, requirements for passing, or any other policies related to your training.
