- [Instructor] Before you record, you want to run through your screen capture settings and let Camtasia know what it is you want to capture. So to do that, I'm going to click record here, and this brings up Camtasia recorder. Now Camtasia can record your screen, your webcam, your microphone and your system audio, that's the sound you hear on your speakers. You can capture all these at once, or any combination. Do whatever works for your workflow and project. Each source is recorded on a separate editable track. So say later you decide you don't want to show you're webcam after all, you can just disable that track during editing. Better to have it and not need it, than the other way around. Okay so let's take a walk through these options, I'm going to work left to right. First up is my screen. If I want to capture my screen, I need to make sure this button is toggled on. Now I need to select region here from the dropdown. For me the simplest method with the most production options is…
