(gentle bright music) - You've been asked to create training videos and you have no idea where to start. Well, there are several things to think about before you even hit record and we're going to talk about it. Hi, I'm Marley Baird, and I help others create videos for their companies. I also started out green and had to learn the basics of video production, so I'm right with you when it comes to learning from scratch. Now you'll see that I'm here on a live set because I'm here at the LinkedIn Learning studios. You certainly don't need all of this to get going or to create the best content. You just need to understand some of the basic ideas and tools, and that's one of the many things we'll discuss in this course. We're also going to talk about the value of using video as a training tool. I'll then walk you through what you'll need to start making videos in order to set you up for success, such as creating an outline, knowing your audience, and keeping your viewers engaged. So if you're ready to get started, let's jump into the world of training videos.
