Using apps for social assessment

- There are many types of assessment. Teachers and corporate trainers assess what you've learned through formal quizzes and exams or use a rubric to evaluate written work and team projects. Peer review is a less formal way to get assessment feedback from fellow learners or coworkers. Even better, you can use your mobile device and Google apps to both give and receive peer review feedback on everything from essays to math and science problems. To start, find some classmates who want to join your peer review group. Now let's look at giving peer review feedback on essays using Google Docs. Using the Google Drive app, create a folder called Sociology paper peer review. To share your folder with other people in your peer review group, click the share icon. Make sure to set the permissions to Organize, add, and edit. Then enter the email address of each person in the group.
