- Most of us are used to doing everything on our own. However, when we work in groups or have a question for classmates, we wish there was an easy way to share resources and ask questions. Let's explore Diigo to accomplish both tasks through social bookmarking and social reading. Before you start, recruit some friends or classmates to try social reading with you. Add the Diigo add-on to your browser or download the Diigo app to your tablet or smartphone. First, social bookmarking. Usually, when you create bookmarks in your web browser, only you can see them and only if you use that device and that same browser. When you use a social bookmarking tool like Diigo, those bookmarks are stored online so you can access them from any device and any browser, and others can see them, too.
