Choosing a course theme
- Choosing a theme for your course will likely be the one decision that you agonize the most over when setting up your course using WordPress. There are literally thousands of themes to choose from, so how do you find the right one that's going to perfectly fit your vision for your course? How do you decide if a basic free theme will be right for you, or should you shell out some of that hard-earned paycheck for the premium theme that has all the bells and whistles? First, you need to figure out what are your must-haves and what are your nice-to-haves? For my classes, when I'm looking for a theme, the first thing that I look for is to make sure that that theme is accessible ready. When teaching on the web, it's really important to make sure that your content is accessible to all learners. So this is one the most important criteria to look for.
