- Designing an architecture for your course site is one of the most critical steps in the entire process of building your site. You need a plan that matches your specific course needs and only you can create the exact right plan for your course. In this movie we'll step through the process to go through. The basic architecture we build in this course should be a great starting point for you to build on and customize for your own needs. To begin, let's first look at the course syllabus. Here, we can see that this course is going to cover five units of content over the course of 15 weeks. We'll need some structure to house this content as well as some other content such as our course syllabus, bibliography, news and announcements. Next, we need to select the model of course that we're going to be running. In an earlier movie we looked at a few models for teaching with WordPress.
