- Chromecast is a device that may work in your classroom for sharing mobile screens wirelessly with the rest of your class. The advantage of the Chromecast is that many newer Android devices can share their entire screen with the class. A few specific apps in iOS can also share the Chromecast. Mac and Windows computers can share the content of their Chrome browsers. The challenges are that a Chromecast can be difficult to get the screen sharing to work reliably on some campus networks, and most devices will need to load specific software to share from. After following the instructions in this movie, if you're unable to get screen sharing to work reliably, you may need to contact your campus IT department for additional assistance.
