- Now that we understand the relationship between domains, subdomains and folders in a URL, the next thing to understand is which account you're going to use and where. This is perhaps one of the most confusing things to both students, teacher and everyone, is what account do I use? Now I've added a map that you can download and fill out. It's located on the course website and it's on the "About" page. The first account you're going to need to deal with when setting up your WordPress account for a class is your web hosting account. At many universities this is likely going to be a single sign-on account that's tied to your main campus account. If you're signing on with your own independent web host, you'll have an account at that web host.
