Sync your library with EndNote online

- [Instructor] In this chapter, we're going to shift our focus now to sharing our EndNote libraries, groups and references with other people. You can allow others to either view or view and edit the references you share with them. But before you can do any of that, you need to activate an online EndNote account. The people you're sharing with will also have to do the same, and need to be using either EndNote X7 or X8. So, we can create our EndNote activation online on the fly, right here from within EndNote. Notice on the tool bar a couple of buttons for syncing your library and sharing your library. Syncing allows you to sync up what's online with what you see here in the EndNote program. Sharing is where you're going to go to invite people. But, as I mentioned, before you can do either of these things, you have to either log in to an existing account or create one on the fly.
