Add a ComboBox to a UserForm
- [Instructor] One of the benefits of allowing users to enter text freely into user form, is that they can make comments, and basically provide freeform feedback and information. However, you might also want to present a list of suggested entries. In this movie, I will show you how to create a tool called a combo box, that lets users select an existing option, or enter one of their own. My sample file is 06_04_ComboBox, and that is a macro enabled Excel workbook that you can find in the chapter 6 folder of your exercise files collection. We won't work with the data that's found on the worksheet named sheet one, but I do want to do something with sheet two. So, I will click that sheet tab, and you can see here, that I have a list of four states with a header. When I provide data to the combo box, I want to use an Excel table as the row source.
