- [Instructor] When you work with charts, 2 you often want to be reminded of where the source data is. 3 And very often that's not a concern 4 because charts typically are near the source data. 5 But as we work with charts and move data around 6 and sometimes take out data temporarily, 7 sometimes the indicators are a bit off. 8 I've got some data here. 9 I'm about to create a chart with this data. 10 Now, that is surrounded by empty cells on all sides 11 in worksheet boundaries. 12 So I don't even have to highlight it. 13 I can click inside and to create a chart quickly, 14 right on the same worksheet, it's Alt + F1. 15 The default chart type in Excel is a stacked column chart. 16 That's what we see. I haven't changed it. 17 You can change it if you wish. 18 So I more or less like the look of this, 19 but I'm about to make a presentation 20 and notice because it is selected, 21 the corresponding source data is…
