Build charts with standard menu commands

- [Instructor] The so-called standard method of creating a chart is based on options that we see on the Insert tab in the ribbon, in this group here called Charts. In this worksheet called Data Selection, in our Chapter Two Creating file, if I'm highlighting this data here to go into a chart, if I know specifically which chart type I want, it might be faster if I simply go to that Insert tab, and if I'm interested in a column chart there's an icon for Column, I'll click it. Now, maybe I'm a little surprised here to see also options for Bar, but there's some choices, and maybe I'll change my mind on the spot. But if I know exactly what I want, and maybe it's stacked column, I'll go immediately to it, the choice is there. So many people use the Insert tab, and these choices when they know specifically which chart type they want. But think of it also as potentially a choice for exploring some other options. And many of these buttons do double duty, or maybe even you could say triple…
