Change a chart's type
- [Instructor] In our exercise file, chapter three, Modifying, we're looking at the worksheet called Year Data. There's some data over in columns A through E, got a Clustered Column Chart to the right and below the data we have a Bar Chart, Stacked Bar Chart, a Line Chart to the right of that. It's not uncommon when you create charts to want to change the chart type. Sometimes you are dissatisfied with the current one or you're just exploring, looking at different chart types. Select a chart, I'm about to select the Column Chart to the right of the data, a Clustered Column chart and on the Design tab, off to the right in the ribbon, Change Chart Type and what's ideal about this capability is the idea that you get a preview. Now I'm not sure which chart type I want, imagine that scenario. Do I want a Stacked Column Chart? There are two variations on it, there's a 100% stacked and so on. It's easy to make these changes. Maybe I'll try this one. I can double-click it, we see that look…
