- [Instructor] It's not uncommon these days 2 to see charts that contain a moving average line. 3 On the screen, currently, we're seeing one, 4 perhaps not as common as the ones you might have seen. 5 This is a line chart depicting data in blue 6 and a moving average in red. 7 This is for every seven days, moving average. 8 The next worksheet to the right 9 has a look that more commonly is seen these days, 10 a column chart, and then a line showing moving average. 11 We can create these in two different ways. 12 And we can use them with line charts or column charts, 13 but again, I think column chart's 14 going to be better for most people. 15 Let's first focus on the idea 16 of how we create a moving average. 17 I'm going to go back to that first sheet 18 and simply move this chart off to the right. 19 One approach to creating a moving average 20 is to write formulas that create that average. 21 Let's go to the…
