- [Instructor] Excel is changing 2 the way we work with formulas 3 and depending upon which version of Excel 4 you might have encountered some of these changes. 5 There are some new functions called dynamic array functions, 6 but they're also new ways of dealing 7 with multiple cells in formulas. 8 I want to set up a multiplication table 9 over in these cells right here 10 based on the data in row two and the data in column A. 11 And one way to do this, a standard way, 12 is simply to write a formula in the upper left corner here. 13 I'll type equal, makes no difference which of these cells 14 I choose first, I want to multiply B2 times A3. 15 And because I want to copy this into all these cells, 16 I'll put a dollar sign in front of the two here, 17 meaning the references for that part of the formula 18 should always come out of row two. 19 I could use the function key F4 20 to get to this point too 21 and for the other part…
