Exploring chart types

- It's not always clear which chart type is going to work best for your data, but because it's so easy to change chart types it's a great feature to be working with. We're on a Worksheet called "Chart types" in a Workbook called "07 - Charting". Let's imagine we wanna create a chart with the data to the left here, I'll highlight the data, and if we're in a hurry we'll simply press "Alt + F1". When you create a chart by way of "Alt + F1", or if you press F11 to get a chart on a new sheet, you get what's called the default chart type in Excel, it's called Clustered Column, and often it can be the best chart. It shows the data pretty clearly what's going on here, no difficult in reading it, it makes sense. It might not be the best but it's pretty good. But we've got this button here available, remember, when the chart is selected we've got two contextual tabs in the Ribbon, Design tab and Format tab.
