Export a chart as an image
- [Instructor] When you create a chart in Excel, you can work with it using either VBA or the tools within the regular program interface. However, there might be times when you want to export the image of a chart so it can be used in another worksheet or perhaps in a report in another type of document. In this movie I will show you how to export a chart as an image. My sample file is 05_04_ExportAsImage. And that is a macro enabled workbook, that you can find in the chapter five folder of your exercise files collection. This workbook has two worksheets. The first, which we're looking at now is called March. And you can see that I have two series of data, in columns B and C. And over on the right, I have a chart. What we want to do is to copy an image of the chart in this current configuration and paste it into the currently empty target worksheet.
