Filter for unique values
- [Instructor] Sometimes you have a list of names, or product names, and you don't want the duplicates, you just want a unique set of the names. You can use a filter for that. I'm going to click inside the dataset here, and I'm going to click Advanced. And the action I'm going to apply here is I'm going to filter the list in place, that's all fine. And in this case, the list range is D1 through D391, and that's true, I do want that list range set. I don't want the whole list range. And if your dialog box didn't default to that, go ahead and delete what's there, click D1 and then press Control + Shift + down arrow, and it will set that address for you for that range, appropriately. I don't need to add a criteria range for this, my criteria is that I want unique records only, so I'm going to click this sneaky, little checkbox here at the bottom, and that's the criteria, unique records only. And then when I click okay, it's going to filter in place for the unique items and product name…
