Freeze Panes and Split

- [Instructor] In the view tab 2 in Excel's ribbon menu system, 3 there are two commands here 4 that are similar and yet different. 5 Freeze panes and split. 6 Freeze panes is probably the more valuable for most people. 7 I've got a worksheet here. 8 I start to scroll down. 9 I forget the column headings. 10 Now of course, in some cases it would be obvious, 11 but the data's new to me and I need to be reminded. 12 I'd like to see row one all the time. 13 So it's visible right now, 14 I'll go to the command freeze panes, 15 freeze the top row, 16 keep the top row visible while scrolling 17 through the rest of the worksheet. 18 Sounds good to me. 19 Scroll up and down. 20 There it is all the time. 21 This has nothing to do with printing. 22 That's a different issue completely, 23 but that's handy. 24 Doesn't change content. 25 It's easy to work with. 26 Maybe I don't need it anymore or I've grown tired of it…
