- [Instructor] Many Excel users are familiar 2 with the idea of hiding a column or hiding a row. 3 I've got a worksheet here and I'm ready to print it, 4 but I really don't want to print 5 the Social Security numbers or phone numbers. 6 So I'll click and drag across columns D and E 7 and then simply right click and Hide. 8 And starting in Excel 2013, 9 there is an indicator 10 whenever there's a hidden column 11 between the other columns that are visible, 12 a slightly thicker line, for example, 13 as we see here between columns C and F. 14 At a later time, of course, 15 we may want to bring back the data, 16 we'll simply drag across here 17 and do one of two things, either right click and Unhide, 18 that's what most people do, 19 or, maybe slightly faster, after dragging across, 20 double click the boundary and the data's back. 21 And similarly on a list to the left here 22 in a different worksheet, 23 I'm ready to…
