- [Instructor] Excel's PivotTable feature 2 is a great tool for analyzing data. 3 Along with it, we can also use another tool 4 called conditional formatting. 5 This is a feature that highlights data 6 by way of data bars, color scales, or icon sets. 7 We can use the two features together. 8 Let's first create a PivotTable from this list. 9 I'll go to the Insert tab, 10 choose Recommended PivotTables. 11 I'll just go with the first option, 12 I'll double click it. 13 We're on a new worksheet. 14 I want to add salesperson to this list also. 15 I'll simply check the box for Salesperson. 16 And now I'm going to move region 17 from the row labels area down the left hand side. 18 I'll move it into columns 19 for a more compact PivotTable. 20 And before proceeding further with anything, 21 I will also, within the PivotTable, 22 remove the terms "Row Labels" and "Column Labels," 23 replacing them with the actual field…
