Excel versions and exercise files

- [Instructor] The exercise files that come with this course are meant for you to open and follow along. Each one is named with the chapter number followed by the video number. For example, this particular file is named 01_01 What is a PivotTable, and this is for chapter one, video one. The next one in that chapter will be called 01_02 and so forth and so on. As you go through the course, even if you don't go through each and every video in order, you can always open the corresponding exercise file and follow along. One special note about versions of Excel, I'm using the latest version of Excel for Office 365 at the time of this recording, but you may be using another version, perhaps an older version on Windows or a version on the Mac. Most of what I teach in this course is possible to do in all versions of Excel on desktop computers, but there may be some exceptions. And if that's the case, we'll put something up on the screen that points out any differences. Also, if you're using another version, your screen might look different than mine. For example, over here, this PivotTable Fields list, mine looks like this. But on your machine, it might look like this. Or on a Mac, it could look something like this or even this. So just something to keep in mind. Okay, let's get started learning about PivotTables.
