Move a chart to a chart sheet
- [Instructor] In the previous movie, I showed you how to create a chart on either the current worksheet, or on a new chart sheet. In this movie, I will show you how to use Excel VBA to move a chart from a worksheet to its own chart sheet. My sample file's 0502, Move Chart, and that is a macro-enabled workbook you can find in the chapter five folder of the exercise files collection. So, in this workbook, I have a single worksheet, and you can see here that I have a chart. Before I move over to the Visual Basic Editor, I need some information. I need to know which chart I am dealing with. And specifically, I need to know the number within the charts collection. If you look at the worksheet, you'll see that cell B2 is currently selected, and that cell address appears in the name box here. You can see that it has B2.
