- [Narrator] There's a new feature or to be more correct, an expanded feature in Excel, referred to as a data type. Now, some users in going to the data type might have seen the choices stocks and geography, but nothing else. There are a bunch of new ones. You will not have access to these unless you're an office insider, but ultimately these will be available to all Excel users, and to remind us of what will be available, in the green panel down below I'm simply displaying those same entries. The idea here is we can pull in information from the internet associated with these entries here, and have information actually be stored here. And from time to time, we might want to refresh that information. For example, population numbers for cities or income levels, that sort of thing.
