- [Instructor] On this worksheet, we've got various sets 2 of data involving dates 3 and we want to create charts from them. 4 If you've got data that's surrounded by empty sales and 5 or worksheet boundaries, like each set of data is here, 6 you can just click within the data 7 rather than highlighting it. 8 It's not wrong to highlight them. 9 And if you want to chart quickly, 10 you will get a column chart alt F1. 11 I've highlighted the data in columns A and B, 12 and here's the chart. 13 Because we have dates in column A, 14 we're getting something a little strange here. 15 Now that may or may not be strange, 16 you can make an adjustment. 17 One thing that might help a little bit here, 18 and just a minor adjustment, if you double click one 19 of the columns, this automatically activates a dialogue box 20 off to the right, format data series. 21 You can change the gap width here, change it down 22 to a number like 5…
