- [Instructor] On this worksheet, we're looking at a stacked column chart, and above it, the data, source data for the chart. The chart always displays visible data and visible data only. You can make it switch to show all data even when hidden, but if I were to hide, for example, Arizona by right clicking row C, and then hide. Watch the chart. We're not going to be seeing Arizona. It's the light blue column on the right side of each cluster. It's not there anymore. It's not represented in the legend of the chart. We don't see it in the columns. It's not there because that row is hidden. So let's bring it back, Control + Z, undo. Many of you know if you filter data, you hide rows. So what if we apply a filter here? Not just to be hiding rows, but because we're saying something like this. We want to be able to make a presentation of this information, but when needed we want to display, for example, a comparison only between two states or three, or maybe at certain points we want to see…
