Save a chart as a template: Use the template for current or new charts

- [Instructor] On this worksheet called chart data, 2 we're seeing a number of different charts 3 all based on the same data. 4 Let's face it, this is overkill. 5 We wouldn't have this many in a real life situation. 6 But let's imagine that you have a favorite 7 amongst these various options here. 8 What if you like the chart to the right? 9 This is the one that has a blue border 10 and a green intersection here for plot area. 11 You'd like that a lot. 12 You'd like to be able to use that format at other times. 13 Maybe you want to convert the chart below it 14 to have that kind of a look or the chart to the right 15 or in different worksheets when you're creating a new chart. 16 For example, you might want to have that same look. 17 You can right-click any chart 18 and potentially save it as a template. 19 Give it a name. 20 Excel will save this template in a special location 21 on your computer. 22 I would suggest that…
