Simplify title adjustments using the Merge and Center button

- We're looking at a worksheet called MergeCenter. And as we look at the data in columns A through I, I think a lot of us would say that would look better if that title were centered. Now, what some people would do is they take this information, which is in cell A1, and they move it and put it in D1. Maybe they put it in C1. In other words, they're sort of guessing as to how it might look centered. And nothing really wrong with that, but there is a technique for centering this. There's another thing going on in here that we might want to adjust first. We need to make the columns be a better fit. Most of them look reasonable, but column A doesn't because we've got this long entry here. And so on. So, highlight just these column entries here. We'll readjust the column width by double-clicking any column boundary, and we see what happens here. Obviously, Excel has misread our intention here because it's looking at this entry, this entry here to adjust column A. So, let's undo that with…
