- [Instructor] At times you may want 2 to split worksheets of a given workbook, 3 say this one here, into different files. 4 We might want to have a file for California, Texas, 5 Florida, and New York. 6 And at other times the reverse might be true. 7 You might have different workbooks, you might want 8 to consolidate them into a single workbook. 9 Let's show both approaches. 10 First of all, if we do want 11 to split this particular workbook into different workbooks, 12 we could save this four times, 13 each time under a different name 14 using the command sequence File Save As. 15 So we could save this as California, save it again as Texas 16 and as Florida and as New York, and then open each file 17 and get rid of the worksheets that are not really relevant 18 to that particular state. 19 So that's certainly one way 20 of splitting this into four separate files. 21 Another way, slightly more visual 22 and one that we…
