- On this worksheet, we see some column headings 2 in columns A, C, E, and G. 3 And imagine them each on a separate worksheet 4 along with some other data. 5 And what we're going to show you here 6 are some quick ways to create date series. 7 In column A, we've got a heading: Mid-Month Report. 8 Doesn't have to be the 15th necessarily, 9 but we want to fill this in for 10 the other months of the year, 11 or maybe even going out to two years. 12 Now, we could put in the February date here, 13 highlight them both, we could take that approach. 14 But I'm going to be using the right mouse button. 15 And we can be a little bit casual about how far 16 we drag this because if we drag it too far, 17 we can get rid of the extras and so on. 18 I'm pointing to the lower right hand corner 19 that's called the fill handle. 20 I'll hold down the fill handle with 21 the right mouse button and drag down 22 to about row 25 or so…
